The laboratory is a computer class equipped with modern information systems used at the enterprises of the locomotive complex and the same automated workstations (AWS) as the ones used by the employees of locomotive depots.
The laboratory is also used for course and diploma projecting. Up-to-date software packages used in the development of nodes and systems of mainline and high-speed electric rolling stock are installed on these computers for the purpose of diploma projecting.
The laboratory is well equipped with multimedia devices for graduate theses defenses.
