Kashtanov Alexey Leonidovich was born on September 20, 1982 in Omsk. In 2004, he graduated from Omsk State Transport University with a degree in “Railway power supply”. He graduated university and entered full-time postgraduate degree study 05.22.07 - “Railway rolling stock, hauling operations and electrification”. A. Kashtanov was accepted as an engineer at the Research Department of Omsk Transport University.
In 2007, he completed a dissertation “Improving effectiveness of the the energy consumption control and conditions of coordinating external and matching traction energy systems according to the Automatic system for commercial accounting of power consumption”.
He currently holds the positions of Senior Research Fellow of the Research Department at Omsk State Transport University and Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical electrical engineering.
