Abstract
The article presents the author's ideas about medieval philosophy. The evaluation of the middle ages as a time of obscurantism led to an underestimation of the philosophical contribution that medieval thought actually made. In contrast to the popular opinion about religious limited-news medieval thought author sure fully the subject philosophy found in these "dark" ages.
